Natural self-tanning dry oil helps achieve a natural golden-brown tan. It absorbs quickly and leaves the skin silky soft without a greasy or sticky feel. The tan develops evenly for a natural, streak-free result. Thanks to its easy-to-blend formula, the product is simple to apply, and the tan fades evenly without patches.

The dry oil also cares for the skin – beta-carotene provides deep hydration, aloe soothes, while antioxidants and vitamin E help maintain skin elasticity and balance. The result is soft, moisturised and naturally tanned skin without the harmful effects of the sun. The fragrance-free formula is also suitable for sensitive skin. The product is COSMOS/ECOCERT certified, meeting high standards for natural cosmetics.

HOW TO USE

For best results, prepare your skin by exfoliating your body with an oil-free body scrub. Massage the product evenly onto your entire body and do not rinse it off. We recommend using an applicator mitt for application. After use, be sure to wash your hands thoroughly. You’ll see results within 4-6 hours.

To achieve and maintain a bronzed complexion, we recommend using the dry oil two to three times a week. However, due to its wonderful skin-nourishing properties, it can also replace your daily body lotion.

KEY INGREDIENTS

DHA (dihydroxyacetone) and erythrulose are natural substances that react with the dead cells on the skin’s surface, providing a beautiful and natural tan without harmful UV radiation. These two substances have been thoroughly researched and have no harmful effects on the skin, are not known to be carcinogenic, and are suitable for use even during pregnancy. However, some individuals may be allergic to these substances (for example, those allergic to raspberries), so it is recommended to perform a skin test before using the products.

Natural DHA (dihydroxyacetone) is a colorless sugar obtained from plant sources such as sugarcane or sugar beets. DHA does not penetrate deeper into the skin’s epidermis or absorb into the bloodstream. Tanning occurs a few hours after applying the product, and the tan fades after about a week. Erythrulose is another natural tanning component. It is a keto-sugar derived from raspberries or other red berries. Erythrulose provides a slower and more gradual tan. By combining erythrulose and DHA, we achieve a more uniform and natural tan, as they react differently with the skin. Erythrulose also serves as a good skin moisturizer, ensuring a longer-lasting tan.

The product is manufactured following good manufacturing practices and is made in Estonia. The product has a COSMOS ECOCERT certificate, which means that ingredients and various aspects of production are verified by an independent competent authority.

Sustainability is a very close topic to LUUV, and we continuously work to reduce our footprint and preserve nature and the planet. We use PCR (post-consumer recycled) plastic in our tube products and reduced plastic content packaging in several products. We collaborate with a Producer Responsibility Organization to ensure our packaging ends up in the right collection containers and can be given a new life.

High-quality self-tanning components provide a beautiful and natural tan without a yellowish hue. Additionally, our self-tanning products contain moisturizing and nourishing ingredients – the more moisturized the skin, the more beautiful the tan. When applying self-tanner, be sure to follow the product instructions to achieve an even result.

Self-tanning components do not provide protection against UV rays. If you plan to spend time in the sun, use sunscreen in addition to self-tanner.
